We took another scenic drive between 2 great destinations, this time to Capitol Reef National Park near Torrey, UT. The park encompasses Waterpocket Fold, a 100 mile long rock formation. The sights are really cool, as usual. We also decided to revisit a hike on scenic Rt. 12 that we didn't finish last year because of the heat - Calf Creek Falls. We did finish this time and I got lots of water photos. Plus, we have now traveled the full length of the Rt 12 highway - spectacular. Another side trip was to Goblin Valley State Park - pretty cool also.
