On June 12, after recovering (resting) from the 10-day Caribbean cruise with the in-laws, I returned to Norvin Green State Forest for a 6 mile hike.
I started at the Otter Hole parking lot again (map)
and headed north on the Blue trail, past Otter Hole to the Green trail and followed it to where it met the Red trail.
I took this to Wyanokie High Point, a beautiful vista with a full 360 deg view.
I then backtracked to where Red meets Blue and followed the Blue trail until I hit the windy Yellow trail with it's many vistas.
I then went on the White trail past Chikahokie Falls and a few cascades to the Blue trail which led back to the parking area.
The streams were swollen from all the rain the previous days, and some parts of the trail were either very muddy or under water. It was fun!
