Norvin Green State Forest : 05-17-2013
On May 17th, I took a shorter hike in Norvin Green State Forest, north of RT 23 and west of I-287.
Thanks to Mark W. for suggesting the area, I had never heard of it before.
I went from Otterhole south toward Butler on the blue trail to the stream and back.
The trail is marked as difficult as it is very hilly, but the views at the starred points on the map are spectacular.
Especially the NYC skyline, if that is your thing.
My route
I did the camera on my chest strap again using the dailyroads app, at 1 minute intervals this time : (slideshow) public)
I still have work to do to make them better.
My photos (public), including stitched panoramas of the NYC skyline
My videos depicting panorama views from the lookout points and some mesmerizing (to me) movies of the Otterhole cascade (okay, so I like water!).
