There are lots of outdoor things to do in the Moab area. We spent 2 days in both Arches and Canyonlands - Island in the Sky, and 1 day in Dead Horse Point State Park. Previously, from Bluff, we had driven to the Needles portion of Canyonlands and spent the day. We also took 2 short scenic drives along the Colorado River.

As usual, the scenery and geology in the Parks were spectacular, and driving there was just as good. The Moab area is truly unbelievable! Two national parks basically across the street for each other, and a state Park in the same area, with very different looks and landmarks. And the mighty Colorado River in the midst of it all.
